The Löwenstein prisma 20A Auto CPAP Machine provides reliable treatment with a highly modern measuring technology. Determine whether nighttime breathing disorders are caused by obstructive or central sleep apnea. The device automatically responds to events and constantly adapts the pressure support to current needs. To make therapy more flexible and more effective, your doctor combines the exhalation pressure reduction softPAP with the ventilation modes CPAP and APAP.

The softSTART function makes it easier to get used to the ventilation pressure during the sleep phase. You can set a different pressure than the therapy pressure prescribed for you. During switch-on, the therapy device sets this softSTART pressure. The pressure then rises slowly within the set time or drops to the therapy level after the predetermined time has elapsed (45 minutes maximum). This function is suitable for patients who perceive high or low pressure as disturbing in waking state and cannot fall asleep.
Stage 1 and stage 2 of the breathing relief softPAP are designed for patients who find exhalation at high pressure uncomfortable. Respirator reduces the pressure before the transition to exhalation and allows you to exhale more easily. Stage 3 is suitable for patients who have difficulty breathing at low pressure. During inspiration, the pressure is slightly increased. Here you can set the breathing relief softPAP level or deactivate it if you do not want to use the function.
